CHRIS is an Executive Bourbon Steward certified by the Stave & Thief Society at Moonshine University in Louisville, Kentucky. The Executive Bourbon Steward certification is the only American whiskey certification recognized by the Kentucky Distiller's Association.

Chris is a passionate and enthusiastic champion of whiskey of all types and has written on the topic for the lifestyle website Cyties.com. He also consults with retailers to taste and select single barrels from distilleries around the country to develop in-store single barrel programs. He is currently the Bourbon Expert for Tasting Table and Food Republic offering commentary and insights on a variety of whiskey-related topics.

Chris believes in the charitable power of the whiskey community and is the Executive Director of Bourbon Charity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Chris was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel in 2024 for his contributions and commitment to charitable work and his active role in the whiskey community.
